Must Watch Christmas Movies

It's now December which means Christmas time is definitely here! ... even though the build has been coming for a few weeks now!

With December finally being here it means taking full advantage of the Christmas films and watching them at any chance you can get, so with that being said I thought I would share with you some of my favourite/must watch Christmas movies (that you have to watch every year.. and will never get bored of!)

These are just a few of my fave Christmas films to get you into that Christmas spirit!
Let me know what your favourite films are at this time of the year..

Things to do this Winter/Christmas time

With Christmas creeping up on us and the colder weather being here to stay, why not make the most of it? There is always something going on or make the most of during the lead up to Christmas so I have come up with a few things to do to make the most of this Winter time.

Visit a Christmas market
Christmas markets are a pretty big thing in most towns and cities in the run up to Christmas, they consist of many little stalls, fair rides and other fun things to do... So my aim this year is to visit a Christmas market nearby that I haven't yet been to.

Take Winter walks
This winter I want to take time to go on long dog walks with a nice surrounding area, even though its starting to get really cold it's nice to take in the winter scenery... I actually did this quite a lot last year but have been slacking a bit lately with the fun walks so I would like to find a few nice new dog walking areas.

Have family time
Family time is very important and although I do spend a lot of time with my close family, I want to make a bit more of an effort to do different things and have nice days out or cosy game nights in... I also have a other family members coming to visit over the Christmas period and would like to spend as much time as I can doing something with them to make the most of the time.

Go to a light switch on
I think pretty much every location has a local light switch on to officially 'turn on' the annual Christmas lights so I want to go to my local light switch on with my family to get into the spirit of Christmas!

Something I want to do more of this Winter is bake more, whether it be cupcakes, gingerbread men, mince pies or something else... I always love the idea of baking but I never actually do it very often and why not do something fun on the warmth of my home during Winter!

Try festive drinks
Festive drinks is always a big thing when Winter hits especially with the themed cups, I haven't actually tried many of the seasonal drinks about but I aim to do this before Winter is over!

Have cosy movie nights/days
Winter can become very cold so a good way to spend the miserable days or nights is to cosy up and watch the Christmas movies to get in the spirit!

So.. I thought I would do a little update
I haven't uploaded in a while.
The reason being that a lot has been changing recently and the reason is...

I'm growing a little human inside of me! And I couldn't be happier..

This is just a little post but I really do want to carry on blogging and have fun with it, I'm also hoping to start uploading once a week!

Winter Coats

With it being Autumn the weather has started to get much colder recently and you can definitely tell Winter is not far away! Which only means one thing.. the wintery coats are starting to make an appearance.

I thought that I would put together a little post on some of the Autumn/Winter coats available on the high street right now, also showing some alternatives to some of the higher priced ones!

The Parka
Almost everyone has had a parka at some point as a go to winter coat, its easy to throw on with anything, it comes in various colours but of course khaki green is the classic parka coat colour!
I have found one on Topshop for £98 that has a big fur hood and is also slighty fur lined inside the coat, I also found one on New Look for almost half the price at £49.99, this one is a darker green colour with a matching fur lined hood and I actually prefer the New Look parka which is great!

The Shearling
The shearling coat trend came out last winter and has become bigger and better this Autumn/Winter. I've found a Topshop Shearling coat at £79 and I love it! It just looks so warm and cosy but stylish too! The slightyle cheaper alternative I found on Matalan at £40 which is very similar to the Topshop one but I must say the Topshop one wins my heart this time!

The Denim Jacket
The Fur lined denim jacket is one of my faves for the Autumn time as its not quite warm enough for them really cold winter days. With this jacket I found a fe
w different alternative that I love at a few different prices so I thought I'd share them all... The first one I found was on Urban Outfitters at £66 which is a classic denim with a fur collar and fur lining. I also found a very similar alternative on New Look at £39.99 which is a brilliant price compared to the Urban Outfitters jacket and it come in two different denim shades; a light denim and a slightly darker one.
Blue Borg Lined Denim Jacket | New Look
I have also found a similar one on Matalan but this one is actually cord but I really like it and it comes in two colours, burgundy and a brown tan colour. At £25 as well you cant go wrong!
Falmer Cord Jacket
The Puffer
The puffer coat is a nice warm coat to have for winter and can be stylish too, I've noticed they have become a lot more on trend recently. The first one I found and really like is from Zara at £79.99.. Zara do wide range of puffer coats in loads of different styles and colours but this is just one I like, I love that it has a fur lined hood aswell. I also found a slightly cheaper version on Miss Pap for £49, Miss Pap also do a range of different bomber jackets on their website. Although the Miss Pap coat is a great price and stylish I much prefer the Zara coat the style and material is just on point!

These are just a few Autum/Winter coat ideas that I have chosen to share with you, there are many other styles and trends available out there from many other highstreet brands, but i hope you enjoyed this new kind of post from me and i will definitely be blogging more from now on!

Benefit Gimme Brow Review

I was quite skeptical about this when I first seen it as I wasn't sure whether it would work with me but I was still just as excited to try it.. When I seen that Glamour magazine were giving away samples with their monthly issue I just couldn't resist giving it a go. As Glamour only gave to colour/shade options (1 and 5) I decided to go for shade 5 as 1 would just be too light for my hair type.

The first time I used it I must admit I wasn't a fan.. I'm not quite sure why, it just didn't look right on me and gave me really dark eyebrows which I'm really not fan of.. But I decided to give it another go and I loved it! It gives you're eyebrows a nice texture and the colour is buildable which I really like as you can sort of find a good amount to put on your brows that suits you. It's also not too heavy or bold which I like but that is just my preference and its really easy to wipe off your skin if you accidentally miss your brow!

All in all i would definitely recommend the Benefit Gimme Brow and may even have to invest in once my sample runs out!

Until next time,
